Holy Smoke Stout
Sourced from issue #1 Brewcraft news. October 2004
A strong pure malt stout in the Guinness tradition with plenty of body, flavour and an alcohol level more than 7%.
Ingredients:
- Black Rock Miners Stout
- Light dry malt extract 2kg
- Roasted/black grain 150g cracked
- Liquorice extract 10ml
- Finishing hop pellets Goldings 20g
- Safale yeast
Notes:
- Final volume 21L
- OG 1065, FG 1019, Alc 6.9%
- When bottling, use 2/3 of the usual bottling sugar.

Results:
This ended up turning out very very malty. Kind of like Dog Bolter Dark Ale.
