Windows PC Speaker Beep

Isn't it frustrating when you disable the sound theme on Windows and Windows decides to use the PC speaker to beep. Why would you turn off the sound scheme? I turned off all the clicks and dings and chords on my HT PC. It's kind of annoying to have it ding when you change the volume.

At the command prompt:

net stop beep
sc config beep start= disabled
